Dreams...from the depths of the Lake/Suenos...desde lo profundo del lago

“I was inspired to produce this body of work because of Lago Nahuel Huapi. A glacier lake in Argentina, north of Patagonia. The lake floor is composed of ash from the volcanoes that surround the water. The explosion of the neighboring Chilean Puyehue blanketed the lake in volcanic ash, creating crystal clear blue waters and immense depth. After my visit, I began to draw what I remembered and dreamed of.”
